What documentation do I need to open a wholesale account?
Pharmalynk requires either either a Reseller Permit/License or a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate.
Why do I have to fill out a sales tax exemption form for a wholesale account?
The United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruled in South Dakota v. Wayfair on June 21, 2018, that states can require sellers to collect and remit sales or use tax on sales delivered to locations within their state regardless of physical presence. This means that online sales are no longer exempt from local sales tax collection. Due to this ruling Pharmalynk is required by law to maintain signed and dated sales tax exemption certificates from all wholesale customers or alternatively collect sales tax for the purchase. All wholesale customers are required to provide documentation that are exempt from paying local sales tax in their registered state.
Do I need to register again for a wholesale account if I already have an account with Pharmalynk?
If you are a qualified Wholesale Partner we will automatically convert your existing account to wholesale.
