The LifeSign Status Strep A Plus (#34250 / 50 Tests per canister) includes external negative and positive controls. A rapid immunochromatographic assay, the LifeSign Status Strep A Plus is designed for the detection of group A streptococcal antigens directly from throat swab specimens. CLIA waived, the Strep A Plus is extremely accurate and presents results in as easy to read format in as little as 5-10 minutes.

- Two (2) canister containing 25 Status Strep A Plus test strips each
- Status Strep A Plus test strip: Contains a membrane coated with rabbit anti-group A streptococcus antibody for the test line and a second control antibody, and a conjugate pad impregnated with the rabbit anti-strep A antibody-dye complex.
- Extraction Reagent A (13 mL): 2.0 M sodium nitrite solution. (Warning: Avoid contact with eyes or skin.)
- Extraction Reagent B (13 mL): 0.2 M phosphoric acid solution. (Warning: Avoid contact with eyes or skin.)
- Positive Control (1 mL): Extracted (non-infective) group A streptococcus antigen (equivalent to approximately 1 X 107 CFU/ml) in phosphate buffered saline containg 0.1% sodium azide.
- Negative Control (1 mL): Extracted (non-infective) group B streptococcus antigen in phosphate buffered saline containg 0.1% sodium azide.
