The Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test is a lateral flow immunoassay device intended for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 virus. This test is authorized for use with self-collected anterior nasal (nares) swab samples from individuals 14 years or older or adult collected anterior nasal (nares) swab samples from individuals aged 2 years or older.

This test uses a nasal swab sample to determine the presence or absence of COVID-19 antigens in nasal samples.

Do I have to serial test with the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test? Serial testing is when you test yourself multiple times for COVID-19 on a routine basis, such as every day or every other day. By testing more frequently, you may detect COVID-19 more quickly and reduce spread of infection. Symptomatic individuals with an initial negative test result must be re-tested once between 48 and 72 hours after the first test using either an antigen test or a molecular test for SARS-CoV-2.You may need to purchase additional tests to perform this serial (repeat) testing.
